DEPUTY FM OF RUSSIA AND ACTING ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF STATE DISCUSSED SITUATION IN TRANSCAUCASIA

ArmInfo. Yesterday, Secretary of State, deputy FM of Russia Grigory
Karasin met acting Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried, being
in Moscow within the frames of the Russian-American negotiations in
'two plus two' format.
As RF FM's press-service reports, during the meeting, the parties
discussed the relations of Russia and USA with the CIS states in
details. Special attention was paid to the problem of NATO extension
to the East and the situation in Transcaucasia.
