TWO BOXERS REPRESENTING ARMENIA IN WARSAW INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT BECOME PRIZE-WINNERS

WARSAW, MARCH 17, NOYAN TAPAN. The International Traditional Memorial
Tournament of world-famous boxing coach Felix Stamm finished on March
16 in the capital city of Poland, Warsaw. Two sportsmen took part in
the tournament from Armenia: Hovhannes Danielian (48 kg, Yerevan)
and Hrachya Javakhian (60 kg, Vanadzor). In the final H. Javakhian
gained a victory and took the first place and H. Danielian gained
less points than his competitor and took the second place.
It should be mentioned that the above mentioned two boxers had gained
a permit to take part in Beijing Olympic Games as far back as in
late 2007.
