ARFD OBJECTS TO ANY DISCUSSIONS IN ARMENIA CONCERNING POSSIBLE CESSION OF TERRITORIES CONTROLLED BY KARABAKH ARMY

ArmInfo. ARF Dashnaktsutyun objects to any discussions in Armenia
concerning possible cession of any of the territories controlled by the
Defense Army of Karabakh, the head of the Central Office for Hay Dat
and Political Affairs of ARFD Kiro Manoyan said during a conference
dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Karabakh movement.
Armenia has no right to cede the territories of Karabakh. Such a
decision must be approved by a referendum. "Unfortunately, some
politicians in Armenia do not think so and this is undermining the
our positions. We must take certain steps to prevent Azerbaijan
from claiming any territories," Manoyan said. One possible way
is settlement of the liberated territories. "We must organize
repatriation of Armenians to their homes and must do it on a state
level," Manoyan said.
