Actor David Fox has prepared a one-man play based on the works
of William Saroyan. This one-man play of some 75 minutes length
is essentially a monologue from the mind and creativity of William
Saroyan. It is staged as if the author was just disturbed at work in
his study.
Designed for an English speaking audience, the play was commissioned
by Fresno's Saroyan Festival in celebration of the 100th anniversary
of Saroyan's birth. Mr. Fox reports that approximately 90% of the
play's text consists of Saroyan's own words.
