    30 March 2008 [15:29] - Today.Az

"A greater part of Armenians is becoming aware of the advantages of
Azerbaijan as compared to Armenia and even so more Nagorno Karabakh".

The due announcement was made by Milli Medjlis deputy Aydin
    Mirzazade.

He said there were cases when Armenians attempted to come to
Azerbaijan, but were deported to the country, they arrived from.

"I have met Armenians abroad, who were interested in how they can
become citizens of Azerbaijan and return to our country. In other
words, if not for the problem of Nagorno Karabakh, Armenians would
influence the state policy of our country within the parliament and
    government of Azerbaijan", he said.

The deputy noted that return of Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan will
let Armenian diaspora of this autonomous oblast to take part in the
    rapid economic development of Azerbaijan.

"The living conditions in any even economically backward region of
Azerbaijan are better than the living conditions in Armenia, not to
mention Nagorno Karabakh. The citizens of our country earn ten times
    more than in Armenia.

He said, moreover, Azerbaijan is successfully implementing
geopolitical and geo-economic projects, to be useful for the next
    generation of our citizens.

"Armenians are deprived of all of it only because they do not agree
on the just resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Only because the
country is ruled by those who are ready to bring Armenia to a
deadlock and terminate all who see that this way is wrong and
criminal, for their political ambitions", the parliamentarian said.

He noted that the level of political freedoms in our country is much
higher than in Armenia, let alone Nagorno Karabakh, where powers are
usurped by the military and police regime.

"At least parliamentarians are not shot in Azerbaijan, like it was in
Armenia, and peaceful protesters are not killed only because they do
not agree with the falsified elections", the deputy concluded.
