RA FOREIGN MINISTER AND HEAD OF AGO GROUP ATTACH IMPORTANCE TO POLITICAL FORCES' DIALOGUE AND HOLDING OF FAIR EXAMINATION OF POST-ELECTORAL EVENTS

YEREVAN, MARCH 31, NOYAN TAPAN. The home political situation formed
in Armenia after the presidential elections and steps aimed at
restoration of public solidarity were discussed at the March 31
meeting of RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian and the delegation of
the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Monitoring Ago Group
headed by Per Sjogren, the Ambassador of Sweden to the Council of
Europe. The interlocutors attached importance to holding of a fair,
transparent examination and dialogue of political forces.
According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA Foreign
Ministry Press and Information Department, during the meeting, the
sides also touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh problem emphasizing the
necessity of continuing the peaceful negotiations process.
