Armenian Government Working at Tourism Development Programs
YEREVAN, May 5. /ARKA/. The RA Ministry of Economy has formed a task
group to work out master programs of tourism development, RA Minister
of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan reported.
The programs are to set standards for investment projects and define
tourist clusters.
All the interested parties can be involved in the group's activities,
Yeritsyan said. He pointed out that updated programs will be AVAILABLE
on the official website of the Ministry.
On February 13, the RA Government approved a concept of tourism
development until 2030.
Some 1.5mln tourists are expected to visit Armenia in 2020, and 3mln in
2030.
Last year, 510,300 tourists visited Armenia against 382,200 in 2006 (a
33.5% increase). `0--
