ACCORDING TO PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF MALATIA-SEBASTIA COMMUNITY'S MAY 18 PREFECT'S ELECTIONS, DAVID OHANIAN ELECTED

YEREVAN, MAY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. According to the preliminary results of
the May 18 prefect's elections of Yerevan's Malatia-Sebastia community,
RPA member David Ohanian, the head of the trade and service department
of the same prefect's office, has been elected prefect.
As Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by Tatev Ohanian, the
Spokesperson of the RA Central Electoral Commission, 30 673 or
32.1% of the total number of community's voters, 95 436, took part
in voting. 29 914 voters voted for the only candidate, 471 voted
against. 282 ballot-papers were recognized invalid. The number of
inaccuracies is 62.
