LOS ANGELES, MAY 22, ARMENIANS TODAY - NOYAN TAPAN. Los Angeles
Mayor Anthony Villaraigosa, prominent state figures amd congressmen
will take part in the celebration dedicated to the first Republic
of Armenia and Culture, which will take place in the Little Armenia
district of Hollywood. The Armenian Cultural Foundation reports
that the third annual celebration dedicated to the Independence
Day of Armenia organized in Little Armenia is being sponsored by
California Assemblymembers Paul Gregorian and Kevin de Leon. The
annual celebration will take place on Hollywood Boulevard on June 1.
