VAHAN HOVANNISYAN NOT TO BE APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF PUBLIC COUNCIL UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA

ArmInfo. At today's briefing in the parliament member of ARF
Dashnaktiutyun parliamentary faction, Ara Nranyan, disproved the
rumours that head of the same faction Vahan Hovannisyan will be
appointed chairman of Public Council under the president of Armenia.
Touching on the 1 March events in Yerevan, he said that 'despite
the results of the election, the main purpose of ex-president Levon
Ter-Petrosyan was to destabilize the situation in the country'.
