17 110-KV SUBSTATIONS OF ARMENIA TO BE COMPLETELLY RECONSTRUCTED

YEREVAN, MAY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. An agreement on reconstruction of 17
110-kV substations of Armenia will be signed with a contractor in the
near future. The RA minister of energy and natural resources Armen
Movsisian told reporters in May 27 that the international tender for
choosing a contractor will finish soon. According to him, 10-kV and
35-kV switches, panel boxes and current transformers will be replaced
with a credit of about 35 million dollars to be provided by the
Japanese government.
A. Movsisian said that the introduction of the SCADA system in the
energy system started in April, which will enable to mamange the system
in the most efficient way. The Japanese government allocated 12 million
dollars for the system's introduction.
