of the RPA Samvel Nikoyan said today over the debates in National
press-club.
He also added that the Constitution says in what cases extraordinary
parliamentary election may be hold, today there is no reason for their
holding. Nikoyan said what happened in Armenia after the presidential
election was a failed attempt of making a revolution. 'At present our
main task is to resolve fairly the problems that appeared in the
country at the post-election period>, - he said.
For his part, deputy from the Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction
Armen Melikyan said it is necessary to start the dialogue between the
opposition and the authorities via discussions and debates. He also
added there is no need to hold extraordinary parliamentary election as
problems cannot be settled in such a way. 'The authorities are obliged
to defuse the tense domestic political situation in the country>, - he
emphasized.
