LOS ANGELES, MAY 29, ARMENIANS TODAY - NOYAN TAPAN.
79-year-old proclaimed duduk player Djivan Gasparyan will team with
composer-producer Michael Brook to perform in the Royce Hall of Los
Angeles on May 30. The additional ensemble of musicians will include
Gasparyan's grandson, also named Djivan, playing duduk, and Brook's
wife, violinist Julie Rogers.
