RUBEN HAKOBIAN EXPELLED FROM ARFD

Y EREVAN, MAY 29, NOYAN TAPAN. The Supreme Body of ARFD has made a
decision to expel Ruben Hakobian, a party member, the Consul of Armenia
to Saint Petersburg, from the party. NA deputy Vahan Hovhannisian, a
Bureau member, said at the May 29 press conference. "He twice had
applied for leaving the party, which could be sustained and he could
leave the party just of his own free will. But in that period he was
also in some anti-party process," V. Hovhannisian supposed.
