PATRIARCH'S VISIT IMPROVED ARMENIAN-MOLDAVIAN RELATIONSHIP

On October 27 the Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians Garegin II and
the Ambassador of Armenia in Moldova Armen Khachatryan had a meeting
with the President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin. During the meeting the
President of Moldova said that the Patriarch's visit will contribute
to develop Armenian-Moldavian relationship. He has signified the
role of Armenian community in country's economy, trade, science,
culture and other spheres.
The Supreme Patriarch has also mentioned that common meetings
have essential role in strengthening relationship between
countries. Armenian delegates expressed their gratitude to Moldavian
authorities for their positive and relative attitude towards Armenian
community.
