BRANCH OF "HRANT DINK" INTERNATIONAL FUND TO OPEN IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS: After the murder of chief editor of
Istanbul "Agos" newspaper Hrant Dink on the initiative of his family
international fund "Hrant Dink" has been established.
H. Dink's brother Yervand Dink told Armenpress that works are
carried out for opening a branch of the fund in Armenia in the
nearest future. Branches of the fund will also open in Los Angeles
and Sidney. Only organizations will make donations to the fund.
The fund already has first donations. The gathered sum will be
spent only for charity reasons and "works on establishing mutual
understanding and peace between nations".
Rachel, Zabel, Haykanush, Khosrov, Yervand, Arat and Delal Dinks are
in the leadership of the fund. The headquarter of the fund is located
in Istanbul.
H. Dink was murdered January 19, 2007 by a Turkish criminal near the
editing house of "Agos" newspaper. About 19 suspects are included in
the case.
