YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, NOYAN TAPAN. Champion of Olympic Games,
gymnast Edward Azarian turns 50 on November 4. He was born in 1958
in Yerevan. He graduated from the Law Department of Yerevan State
University. He is many times champion of Armenia and an absolute
champion of the USSR, world cup-winner and champion of the 22nd Moscow
Olympic Games. Merited Sports Master of USSR Edward Azarian is the
son of three times champion of Olympic Games, the best sportsman of
Armenia in the 20th century Albert Azarian. Now he resides in the
U.S. with his family.
