SERZH SARGSIAN AND JAVIER SOLANA DISCUSSED ARMENIA-EU RELATIONS

YEREVAN, 06.11.08. DE FACTO. Within the frames of the visit to Belgium
held on November 4-6 the RA President Serzh Sargsian held a meeting
with Javier Solana, Secretary General of the European Union Council.
European Union-Armenia relations, the course of realization of
Individual Action Plan within the frame of the New Neighborhood Policy
and democratic and economic reforms in Armenia, as well the issues
referring to Nagorno-Karabakh talks and Armenian-Turkish political
dialogue were discussed in the course of the meeting.
Various problems referring to regional security were considered during
the meeting. Considering stability and peace in the region an important
condition for development ad prosperity Javier Solana expressed
his support to the Nagorno-Karabakh peaceful talks and current
Armenian-Turkish dialogue, the RA President's Press Office reports.
