TURKEY SUPPORTS U.S. NEW ELECTED PRESIDENT

Turkey, Ankara, 6 November / TrendNews, corr. A.Alaskarov / Turkish
President Abdullah Gul expressed hope that a new period will begin
in the world by election of the new President of the U.S. Barack
Obama. The Turkish Milliet newspaper reported that in the letter
that Gul addressed to the new U.S. President is stated "the statement
made by you regarding the changes meet today's expectations. Turkey
supports these statements."
"The problems of 'white and black' will be removed in a result
of the presidential election in the United States," Turkish Prime
Minsiter Recep Tayyip Erdogan said commenting Obama's success in the
presidential election.
Touching Obama's position on the 'Armenian genocide', the Prime
Minister said that "we estimate Obama's statements as the statements
for the election campaign."
