THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE USA IS ABLE TO FULFIL HIS PROMISES GIVEN DURING THE PRE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN, AN ARMENIAN OPPOSITIONAL MP SAYS

ArmInfo. Newly-elected US President Barack Obama is able to fulfil his
promises given during the pre-election campaign, Raffi Hovannisian,
a representative of the parliamentary faction of the oppositional
Heritage Party, said when replying to ArmInfo correspondent's question.
When a president assumes the office, he faces another reality, he
said. But there is hope that the USA will open a new epoch for both
itself and the whole world, he added. Hovannisian also expressed
hope that certain progress will be fixed not only in the issue of
recognition of the Armenian Genocide, but also in the Karabakh peace
process.
