TURKEY READY TO MEDIATE BETWEEN U.S. AND IRAN

his country could mediate tensions between the United States and Iran.
"We are ready to mediate and we can be useful. Ankara is concerned
about the Iran-U.S. relations and stands for resolution of problems
through diplomatic talks. War is not a solution," he said, RIA
Novosti reports.
The U.S. and Iran broke off diplomatic relations in 1979. Presently,
Iran neglects U.S. demands to end its nuclear program.
