  • BAKU: Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia refused to change format

    Azerbaijan Business Center, Azerbaijan
    Nov 15 2008

Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia refused to change the format of
    OSCE Minsk Group

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. On November 13, President of Azerbaijan Ilham
Aliyev received OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The discussions focused on
the current situation of and prospects for the talks related to the
settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.

OSCE Co-Chair Matthew Bryza (US) said Azerbaijan and Armenia are going
to keep the format of OSCE Minsk Group unless the conflict regulated.

`There will be no amendments made to the format of OSCE Minsk Group
and Azerbaijan's President confirmed that at our meeting,' Bryza
    stated.

According to Bryza, Armenia's President supports the similar opinion.

`Both Presidents agree as our Minsk Group works very efficiently and I
feel the Presidents would like to regulate the conflict within the
    Minsk Group,' Bryza emphasized.
