"No one intends to protract the process of the peaceful resolution
of the Karabakh conflict", said Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk
Group Yuri Merzlyakov.
He noted that a special acceleration of the conflict settlement can
be expected as the Moscow declaration directly says that the Foreign
Ministers must intensify efforts on the conflict resolution.
"The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are expected to hold a
meeting with our participation soon. We will have this opportunity in
early December. Moreover, we hope that we will be able to arrange the
next meeting of the presidents of two two parties in the near future.
We are not able to specify the venue and form of the meeting, but
it will definitely be held and we will work in this direction. I
think there will not be a hurry but the process must get definite
acceleration", noted Merzlyakov.
