NAGORNO-KARABAKH LEADERSHIP VOICED READINESS TO DELIVER KILLED SERVICEMAN'S BODY TO AZERI PARTY

STEPANAKERT, 18.11.08. DE FACTO. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
leadership voiced readiness to deliver the body of a serviceman
killed in the incident at the Nagorno-Karabakh and Azeri Armed Forces'
contact line to the Azeri party.
The information of the NKR State Committee on POWs, Missing and
Hostages runs, in part, "On the night of November 15-16, 2008,
a diversion group of Azerbaijani Armed Forces made an attempt to
penetrate in the rear of Karabakh subdivisions at the south-eastern
direction of the contact line.
Due to efficient actions of NKR Defense Army's servicemen the attempt
was stopped, a member of the diversion group killed in fighting.
The NKR appropriate organs timely informed the offices of the
International Committee of the Red Cross and OSCE accredited in
Nagorno-Karabakh of the incident.
Maintaining adherence to engagements undertaken by NKR authorities,
NKR leadership voices readiness to deliver the killed serviceman's
body to the Azeri party".
