    ARMENIA AGREES TO RETURN KILLED AZERBAIJANI SOLDIER'S DEAD BODY

    Azerbaijan, Barda, 18 November /TrendNews corr. S.Jaliloglu/ An
    agreement was reached with Armenia to return dead body of the killed
    soldier of the military unit N of the Fuzuli Region (360km south-west
    of Baku of Azerbaijan.

    It is expected to return soldier Orkhan Shamilov's dead body near to
    Khangarvand village of Agdam region in the evening of 18 November,
    TrendNews regional correspondent said.

    Shamilov, a soldier of the Azerbaijani Army died as a result of
    shooting at the troops contact line in direction of Fuzuli region in
    the evening of 16 November, the Ministry of Defense said. Shamilov,
    who was on combat duty, sough to make enemy be silent during violation
    of ceasefire. The soldier killed two Armenian soldiers and died during
    shooting, which lasted within several minutes.

    Shamilov's dead body remained at a place near to positions of the
    Armenian Armed Forces.

    Shamilov, who was conscripted to military service from the Terter
    Region Conscription Office in April 2008, escaped on 15 November
    with the gun entrusted to him and the Terter Police Office has begun
    operation and investigation measures to arrest the soldier.

    The Platoon Commander of the military unit, who made report on
    Shamilov's escape, and three more people were involved into crime
    responsibility, Vagif Shamilov, the soldier's uncle, said, basing on
    unofficial data.

    A lawsuit was filed on the soldier in accordance with Article 338
    (violation of duty rules) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code at the
    Fizuli Military Prosecutor's Office after the report on the soldier's
    escape, law enforcement bodies told TrendNews. At present this case
    is under investigations.

    Eldar Sabiroglu, the press secretary of the Azerbaijani Ministry of
    Defense, told Trend News that they would publicize a report after
    getting official data on the soldier's return.
