WINNERS OF SAROYAN STORY-WRITING CONTEST NAMED

The William Saroyan Society in Fresno has been celebrating the
centennial anniversary of the birth of writer and Fresno native Saroyan
with events this year. One event was the 24th annual story-writing
contest for students from elementary school through college. The
winners were announced earlier this year and received up to $100.
