Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Tuesday the views of Iraq's
neighbors about this agreement will be very important.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said Tuesday his country
was looking over an agreement between the White House and Baghdad
government which calls for a complete withdrawal of American troops
from Iraq by the end of 2011.
"We are examining the details of the security agreement reached
between the U.S. and Iraq, and the views of Iraq's neighbors about
this agreement will be very important," Babacan told the A.A in Warsaw
where he has held a number of talks with Polish officials.
Babacan also said he would meet his Armenian counterpart Edward
Nalbandian next Monday in Istanbul, adding that a tri-lateral meeting
could soon take place between the foreign ministers of Turkey,
Azerbaijan and Armenia.
