In the night of November 15-16, a special-purpose detachment of
the armed forces of Azerbaijan tried to break through to the rear
of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and thus grossly breached
the ceasefire regime requirements. As a result of the measures taken
the group was thrown back to the former positions and bore losses in
manpower. The ministry pointed out that this attempt of breakthrough
was organized by the Azerbaijani party on the day of arrival of
co-chairs of the Minsk OSCE group and representative of acting chair
of OSCE in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as after the recent signing of the
Moscow declaration by the presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
