I do not know in what phase the settlement of the Karabakh conflict is,
and I think many people are also unaware and are making forecasts but
I can say that the economy of Karabakh is developing successfully,
and in the upcoming two years it will be tangible. On November 27
Michael Baghdasarov, a businessman who comes from Karabakh, stated
this at the De Facto press club.
He said hospitals, hotels, roads are being built in
Karabakh. Baghdasarov said he plans to re-operate the factory of wine
and to plant vineyards.
Besides, Michael Baghdasarov said the Russia-based businessman Samvel
Karapetyan invests 15 million dollars in Karabakh. Baghdasarov is
going to build a sport complex at the center of Stepanakert because
he thinks sports bring people together. According to Baghdasarov,
the complex will cost 7 to 8 million dollars. He will allocate the
first 300 thousand dollars this year. Baghdasarov says he will build
the facility, noting that it is better to build yourselves since
when money runs out, you add. And when you give the money to others
to build, money is never enough, and construction lasts forever,
Baghdasarov says.
