GeoProMining to start industrial melting of gold from 1 December 2008

ArmInfo. GeoProMining [GPM] will start industrial melting of gold in
Armenia out of the ore mineral processed at Zotq deposit beginning from
1 December 2008, press-secretary of GPM Ruzanna Grigoryan told ArmInfo
correspondent, Friday.
She also added it is already for 18 months that gold was not melt at
the enrichment plant in Ararat town, since buying of the shares of AGRC
by the GPM, at present GPMGOLD. Representatives of the top-management
of GPM from Moscow, members of the Armenian government and other guests
will take part in the ceremony of the first gold melting.
To recall, since the beginning of November 2008 GPM (subsidiary of
"Industrial investors" group) has started exploiting the Zotq deposit
in the north of Armenia and an enrichment plant in Ararat town has
started functioning since that time.
