Azerbaijani ambassador to Sweden: "Unless Armenia holds Azerbaijani
lands under occupation, no ties between the states are possible"

The Azerbaijani ambassador to Sweden Rafael Ibrahimov met with the
teaching staff, as well as students of the history of economy faculty
of Stockholm University, said a source from the Azerbaijani embassy to
Sweden.
As is noted, ambassador Ibrahimov informed the audience about the
policy an economy of Azerbaijan, leading role of Azerbaijan in the
South Caucasus region, as well as the role of the energy bridge
between Asia and Europe.
As for Nagorno Karabakh conflict, he noted the countries do not
maintain ties.
"Unless Armenia holds Azerbaijani lands under occupation, no contacts
between the states are possible", said he.
At the same time, Ibrahimov noted that the sides are negotiating on
the peaceful resolution of the conflict and it can be settled only in
the framework of the principle of the territorial integrity of
Azerbaijan.
He noted that for reaching stability in the region this conflict must
be settled soon.
It should be noted that the Stockholm university is the biggest high
school of Sweden and about 50,000 students study there.
