ARMENIAN-AMERICAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION PROGRAMS DISCUSSED

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Finance Minister Tigran
Davtian received today U.S. ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch.
Press service of the ministry told Armenpress that the minister
congratulated the ambassador on her appointment wishing her fruitful
work directed towards consolidation of economic ties between the
two countries.
The minister presented to the ambassador the priorities of the economic
policy adopted by the Armenian government as well as already noticeable
results of the reforms.
He highly underscored the financial assistance of USA provided
to Armenia which will promote the implementation of the Armenian
government's program and qualitative changes in the economic field.
During the meeting the interlocutors also discussed in details
the financial programs carried out within the frameworks of
Armenian-American economic cooperation, referred to the pace of
"Millennium Challenge-Armenia" program.
The sides also expressed readiness to promote the consolidation and
development of Armenian-American economic partnership.
