During the upcoming elections in the United States, the Armenian
community will support and vote in favor of Democratic candidate
Barrack O'bama, Arpi Vardanyan, Head of the ANCA Office for Armenia and
Nagorno Karabakh has said. According to her, the Democratic candidate
has always stood out with his pro-Armenian initiatives and is
well-familiar with the Armenian history. `He has promised to recognize
the Armenian Genocide in case of being elected, and we do believe in
the sincerity of his promise,' A. Vardanyan said.
