ArmInfo. NATO is acting with leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan to
avoid in Nagornyy Karabakh the situation similar to that in the South
Ossetia, special representative of NATO secretary general for the
Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simmons told ArmInfo correspondent.
He also added it is more important for them to support the process
within the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group on searching for peaceful
settlement of the Karabakh conflict. He also said that over the last
visit of Azerbaijani foreign minister to Brussels, the topic of the
Georgian-Ossetian conflict was also discussed. 'Thus, we discussed and
learned the reaction of the parties on the event', - Simmons concluded.
