Armenia Joins World Nuclear Association

(Interfax) - Armenia has become a member of the World Nuclear
Association, Deputy Energy and Natural Resources Minister Areg
Galstian told Interfax.
He said the accession agreement had been signed in Paris.
Armenia is the 25th member of the organization, which unites all the
nuclear powers, the official said on Monday.
The World Nuclear Association aims to promote peaceful uses of atomic
energy. It supervises nuclear generation, production, storing and
transportation of nuclear fuel and storing and disposal of spent
nuclear fuel.
