The last shift of Armenian peacekeepers will return from Iraq back home
on October 7, spokesman for the Armenian Defense Minister Col. Seiran
Shakhsuvarian told Interfax.
Armenian soldiers had been involved in a peacekeeping mission in Iraq
as part of the North-South international division under Poland's
command since January 2005. The mission consists of 46 people,
including two staff officers, three doctors, ten minesweepers and
drivers.
