Russia and Armenia have no unsettled issues in the natural gas sector,
Sergei Prikhodko, an aide to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev,
told reporters Tuesday after talks between Medvedev and his Armenian
counterpart Serzh Sargsyan.
"All problems regarding gas cooperation with the Armenia have been
settled, (so) this issue does not have to be discussed in greater
detail," Prikhodko said.
During the talks, Medvedev expressed regret that the military conflict
in Georgia had a negative impact on transportation and economic ties
between Russia and Armenia, Prikhodko said.
The majority of trade and transit between the two countries is carried
out via Georgia, Prikhodko added.
