/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Azerbaijani-Turkish Interparliamentary Working Group
holds discussions of Turkish President Abdullah Gul's forthcoming
visit to Armenia.
"There are opponents and supporters of Turkish President's visit to
Armenia," Head of the Working Group, MP Nizami Jafarov said, adding
that relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan will not change.
"The development of events shows that Turkish President has made a
tactical move. This does not change attitude towards Azerbaijan. Our
country will not change its attitude towards Turkey either. The
point is that a new period in relations has already begun. But I do
not think that Turkey will make concessions to Armenia or change its
policy under pressure," Jafarov said, Trend Azeri news agency reports.
