REGULAR MONITORING OF OSCE MISSION HELD IN KARABAKH CONFLICT ZONE

STEPANAKERT, 08.09.08. DE FACTO. On September 5, in accordance with the
earlier achieved agreement with the NKR authorities, the OSCE mission
conducted a regular monitoring of the contact-line of Nagorno Karabakh
and Azerbaijani armed forces to the east of the village of Seysulan,
NKR Martakert region.
>From the positions of the NKR Defense Army the monitoring was conducted
by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzey
Kasprzyk. The monitoring group included field assistants of the
Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich
(Hungary) and Vladimir Chuntulov (Bulgaria).
According to the agreement with the OSCE Office, before visiting the
contact-line, the monitoring group held a briefing with the Head of
the NKR Martakert region administration.
The monitoring passed in accordance with the planned schedule. No
violation of cease-fire regime was fixed.
The monitoring mission from the Karabakh side was accompanied by
representatives of the NKR Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.
