NALCHIK, SEPTEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. Women's World Chess Championship
is continuing in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria. Out of
64 initial participants, 8 have reached the quarter-finals.
Lilit Mkrtchian drew with Hou Yifan of China on September 7. The 2nd
game of the same players is scheduled for today.
