Wim Wenders to pay tribute to helmer at the festival
MUNICH -- Atom Egoyan, an Oscar nominee for his 1997 film "The Sweet
Hereafter," will receive the Douglas Sirk Prize from the Filmfest
Hamburg, organizers said Monday.
Wim Wenders will pay tribute to Egoyan on Sept. 27 prior to the
German premiere of the Canadian helmer's latest film, "Adoration,"
which screened In Competition at the Festival de Cannes in May.
