ARMENIA TO DELIVER ENERGY TO TURKEY FROM 2009

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia will launch delivery of electricity to
Turkey in 2009.
Initially, the republic will deliver 1.5 bln. kilowatt-hour per
year. Then, the amount will reach 3.5 bln. kilowatt-hour, Armenian
Enegry and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan told reporters
today.
The agreement on electricity supply was signed during Turkish President
Gul's visit to Armenia.
As to the tariffs, they will depend on rise in thermal energy and
gas prices, the Minister said. "Today, it would make 5,7 cents per
kilowatt-hour," he said.
