Baku. Ramil Mammadli - APA. "Azerbaijani Government should lay out
its demands before Turkish Government during Abdullah Gul's visit",
Chairman of United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev
told journalists, APA reports. He considers Gul's visit to Yerevan
was unsuccessful.
"The US and Europe exerted pressure on Turkish military leadership
for not closing Turkey's ruling party AKP. It was said that closure
of AKP would have impact on the relations with Turkey. Abdullah Gul's
visit to Yerevan was a response to the step of the US and Europe in
connection with AKP", he said.
Gudrat Hasanguliyev said Turkey and Azerbaijan had not signed agreement
on mutual military assistance.
"Unfortunately, Azerbaijan did not receive necessary assistance
from Turkey during the war. We should openly speak about it. Turkish
lorries go to Armenia through Georgia. Azerbaijan should demand Turkey
to break off the relations with Armenia," he said.
