AZERBAIJAN IS CONCERNED OVER THE STATE OF SARSANG RESERVOIR SEIZED BY ARMENIA

have not reacted yet to the Government of Azerbaijan's appeal about the
current state of the Sarsang water reservoir that in the areas occupied
by Armenia, said Ahmed Ahmedzade, Head of the State Amelioration and
Water Management Agency (SAWMA)
He added that Azerbaijani has repeatedly expressed concern to the
international organization about the state of emergency situation of
the reservoir.
"We are concerned over the water reservoir that remains abandoned. In
spring and summer when it drought in lowland areas Armenians turn off
water flow from the reservoir, and this may lead to accident at dams",
he added.
