IRAN TO OFFER STRATEGY TO RESTORE STABILITY IN CAUCASUS

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran plans to offer a collective strategy to establish
stability and security in the Caucasus, Foreign Minister Manouchehr
Mottaki said.
"By exchanging views, Tehran tries to achieve an acceptable strategy
to secure peace and security in region," Mottaki said during a meeting
with his German counterpart Walter Steinmeier.
Azerbaijan and Russia have already started discussions on this
issue. The offer is to be raised during Armenian foreign minister's
visit to Iran as well, Mottaki said.
Germany supports providing peace and stability in the Caucasus and
any proposals made in this regard, Steinmeier said.
