PROSECUTOR GENERAL INSTRUCTS INVESTIGATION BODY TO EXAMINE VIDEO FILM SPREAD BY OPPOSITION

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA Prosecutor General's Office
examined a video film about the political activities of the first
Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosian. The film was spread by the
opposition. As NT correspondent was informed by spokeswoman for the
RA prosecutor general Sona Truzian, "it is obvious that shots made in
different periods by various persons and bodies were used in the film,
with some editing being done with political aims."
Taking into account the fact that shots with March 1-2 events in
Yerevan and scenes of the use of force by police were also used
in the film, the prosecutor general instructed the investigation
body to examine the film and make an expert examination, studying
all the shots which were not at the investigation body's disposal
previously. The public will be informed about the results.
