ArmInfo. Today, it is necessary to draw attention to enhancement
of awareness about the monuments of culture and art of Armenia,
RA deputy Minister of Culture Gagik Gyurjyan said at the opening of
information boards in the territory of Zvartnots temple.
He recalled that Zvartnots has already become the third historical
monument, having been included in the relevant programme of RA Ministry
of Culture.
Earlier, the information boards in several languages (Armenian,
Russian, English, Italian, French) were installed at Garni temple and
in the historical part of Gyumri-Kobaire. 'Khor Virap and Noravank
will also join this list in the current year. We do not intend to
be satisfied with what have already been achieved and envisage to
install the relevant boards on the drive ways for the tourists to be
able to easily orient themselves where exactly the cultural monument
they are interested in is located', G. Gyurjyan said. He added that
the necessary information will be also available in future on audio
carriers.
To note, the programme, within the frames of which the information
boards are installed, is carried out under assistance of VivaCell
mobile operator, USAID/CAPS and the honourable Consul of Italy to
Gyumri Antonio Moltato.
