decreased in Russia, said a representative of Sova analytical center.
`71 people died and 268 were wounded in 2008,' Galina Kozhevnikova
said. `Over 50 acts of vandalism against religious facilities were
committed.'
According to the Moscow Human Right Bureau, natives of Uzbekistan,
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan were mostly assaulted. Human
rights advocates say several dozens of thousands of skinhead
organizations are functioning throughout Russia, Interfax reports.
