YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19, NOYAN TAPAN. The competition in Greco-Roman
wrestling of the World Deaf Wrestling Championship finished in Yerevan
on September 18. In the final, Stepan Harutyunian (60 kg, Armenia)
defeated Mahmud Beigizaadeh (Iran) and became the world champion. The
former champion of the world Aziz Amoyan (74 kg) took second place this
time. Zhora Grigorian (66 kg) was in third place.
The competition in freestyle wrestling will begin on September 20.
