MEMBERS OF US CONGRESS ARE FOR INDEPENDENCE OF NAGORNYY KARABAKH

ArmInfo. Members of US Congress - prominent lawyer Mark Geragos and
human rights adviser Catherine Porter and more that 100 members of
the American parliament gathered at Capitol Hill last week to express
their support to independence of Nagornyy Karabakh.
As ArmInfo was informed from Armenian National Committee of America,
those who gathered at the measure with a topic: 'Negornyy Karabakh:
20 years of freedom, democracy and progress' discussed challenges
against the NKR as well as the progress achieved over the years of
the de-facto independent republic. They said US have to continue
supporting democracy development in the NKR, and the policy of the
country should have an opportunity of extending the dialogue with
the elected leadership of the NKR.
